Cooking Class with Zineb
Start 10 o clock: First you go together to the maket and you buy the spices, vegetable and meat
Then you will prepare a 3-course Meal and enjoy sharing it together.
We propose two types of maroccain Specialities:
1) Tanjia, – the most typical Marrakshi „Goulasch“
prepared in Clay pot, cooked in the Hamam. – Adventure cooking
After having done the shopping of alle the ingredients you will prepare the typical Tanjia in a clay pot and bring it together in the Hamam where it will be cooked in the hot ashes of the hamam oven.
– an unique experience for you to enter the innemost heart of a traditional hamam. This is how marakshis still today prepare their food, – a very ecological and economic way, using the heat of the public Hamam and economizing energy at home!
Then you will prepare maroccain Salad and/or maroccain starters like Zalouk (delicious Aubergine Salad) and a maroccain desert.
In the evenig you will fetch the Tanjia from the hamam and enjoy your meal in our Riad.
2) Tajine with lemmon and olives or Tajine with dry fruits and nuts.
After the shoppingtour you will prepare the Tajine together. Then you will prepare maroccain Salad and/or maroccain starters like Zalouk (delicious Aubergine Salad) and a maroccain desert. and enjoy it together. The whole process of shopping and cooking will take about 4 hours. So it is up to you if you want to start in the morning and eat at noon or if you want to start in the afternoon and eat in the evening.
